Iran animation to compete at South Korea Filmfest

Iran Short animation 'Maned & Macho' directed by Shiva Sadeq-Asadi is scheduled to compete at the 35th Busan International Short Film Festival in South Korea.

The flick will compete with 42 other selected short animations in the competition section of the 35th Busan International Short Film Festival.

The animation narrates the story of a young girl's repressed emotions and instincts that are embodied in some animals that come out of her dreams. However, no one in her family is receptive to these animals.

Sadeq-Asadi's 'Maned & Macho' has attended several other festivals such as the Giffoni 2017 Film Festival in Italy.

It has also competed at the Göteborg Film Festival in Sweden.

The 35th edition of Busan International Short Film Festival is slated for April 24-29, 2018.
